12-day observanceAdi Pushkaralu is the first 12 days of the Pushkaralu observance. The Godavari tradition is associated with Jupiter (Brihaspati) entering Simha, or Leo.

12-day observanceGodavari Antya Pushkaralu is observed during the final 12 days before Jupiter leaves Simha (Leo) for Kanya (Virgo). This tradition is why the current Godavari festival information spans 2027–2028.
Antya dates reported by Akashvani, citing Vedic scholars in its bulletin on Telangana’s Pushkaralu preparations.

These Jupiter ingress times are calculated on this website using Swiss Ephemeris and the Lahiri ayanamsa. All times are in Indian Standard Time (IST). Follow the relevant temple and district notices for local bathing and ritual schedules.
These are two separate 12-day observances, not one continuous festival throughout 2027–2028. Confirm the precise transit time, local bathing access and ritual arrangements with the relevant panchangam, temple and district notices. Follow Maharashtra’s local Simhastha schedule where applicable.
